So yesterday God said to me, "I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account." (Deuteronomy / Devarim 18:18-19).

I wonder who that could be?

This blog doesn't get too many posts, does it? Anyway, if they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.* By the way, I rose from the dead not too long ago.

levi your statements are wrong. It clearly states in Torah that no there will never be a prophet greater then Moshe. Any way Jews would never not listen to the messiah. According t propehcy when the messiah comes all people will know. It will be like everyone knows 1+1 is 2. Since the Jews and the rest of the world did not feel Jesus has the Messiah when he was around then he clearly is not. As for the ressurection of the dead. Don't you know that is a Jewish prophecy, not a Jesus prophecy. I see alot of goyim worshipping Jesus. I see a lot of Jews worshipping HaShem

Yo ralbag

Yeshua is not a prophet like Moshe, He is Moschiach who is, AMONG OTHER THINGS, a prophet. So it is still truly said, no other prophet like Moses has been seen in Israel to this day.

Yeshiva Boy and Levi Ben Gershom - you are both wrong. If you would read further you will find the answer

Numbers 27 (Joshua is this man that HaShem raised up to be a prophet like Moshe)

18And the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;

19And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight.

20And thou shalt put some of thine honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient.

21And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.

22And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:

23And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
